At the El Paraiso Agency we operate a coffee reception, drying and storage facility. We opened this facility for the 2002/2003 harvest. We operate a fully equipped cupping laboratory to ensure that the coffees don’t contain damages at the source.

At El Paraíso, we operate 3 mechanical dryers, 1 Patio that holds about 8,000 lbs of wet parchment, and a warehouse that can store up to 7,000 Quintal (QQ) (700,000 Spanish lbs) dry parchment.

Each region of Honduras is a bit different in terms of the trade with producers. One of the peculiarities of the El Paraiso region is that coffee is traded in latas (cans). Around 6.5 latas make up 1 QQ (100 Spanish lbs.)

The El Paraiso Agency covers coffee purchases in the El Paraíso, Francisco Morazan, and Olancho departments (provinces).
