San
Pedro Sula is our main operations hub and is also the
home to our largest mill. All of our coffee is channeled
through San Pedro for a final check before it is shipped
globally. Although we operate tasting labs in some of
our other agencies, our lab in San Pedro Sula has the
final word in terms of quality. This is due to the fact
that our taster in San Pedro is one of the best nationwide
– achieving a Star Cupper level as per the Coffee
Quality Institute.
In
San Pedro, we operate 17 mechanical dryers, 5 gravity separators
classifiers, 7 electronic color sorters, and 3 hullers.
San Pedro Sula is also our main logistical and shipping hub.
Our cupping laboratory is also
one of the most advanced in the nation. It provides
us the ability to maintain exacting quality control
standards. As with all our milling facilities, in
San Pedro, coffee is tasted and analyzed through every
step of the process to ensure cup quality.
