This boutique bean is a Grand Cru of coffees. It is produced in the Cordillera Montecillos, which runs through the departments (provinces) of Comayagua, La Paz, and Intibuca. We have been marketing our Gold Moon coffee since 2003 when after 3 years of relentless work, we found a coffee that met our exacting quality standards.

Our Gold Moon coffee is the specialty version of our SHG. It contains similar characteristics: a small, compact, yet heavy bean; circular shape; and a rich, deep blue-green color.

Once roasted, our Gold Moon coffee yields a deep, brown color with a superior cup.

Cup Characteristics: Refreshingly, clean cup. Wonderful, floral aroma. Fine acidity with balanced body. Sweet and persistent aftertaste.
